Dr. Bashford is an Arvada native and a graduate of Arvada West High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1999 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 2003. Dr. Bashford is fluent in Spanish. He practices general optometry with additional interest in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, care of the diabetic patient, and specialty contact lens fitting.

Dr. Bashford is an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Glaucoma Society, and is a past clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Bashford is Board certified by the American Board of Optometry. He and his wife Deanna, enjoy golf and skiing together. They live in Arvada with their four daughters.
